Parroquia de San Miguel Arcángel
n the heart of San Miguel is this parish that has become the symbol of the place. Anyone passing by, can not help but marvel at the majestic temple. Although its construction dates from the late seventeenth century, Zeferino Gutiérrez completely changed its facade inspired by cathedrals of Europe between 1880 and 1890. It might seem that breaks with the colonial style of the square, but is imposed on anyone who passes.
This parish church was built in the late 17th century. A new, neo-Gothic facade was later added in 1880 by foreman mason Zeferino Gutierrez, who was inspired by postcards of European cathedrals.
